At AIET, our programs are designed with one goal –
to break barriers, empower communities, and create lasting change.
Each initiative is carefully crafted to address social exclusion, gender inequality, poverty, and lack of opportunities in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) of Assam.
Inclusion & Disability Rights Program
Persons with disabilities deserve more than sympathy – they deserve equal participation and dignity.
Through this program, we:
Advocate for inclusive education and access to assistive devices.
Work with policymakers to ensure disability rights are protected and implemented.
Conduct sensitization workshops to change mindsets and reduce stigma.
Support persons with disabilities to participate in community leadership, skill training, and employment opportunities.
Prevent domestic violence, trafficking, and child marriage through awareness campaigns.
Build Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and provide skill training for economic independence.

Women’s Empowerment & Safety Initiative
We believe that empowering women is the key to empowering society.

Child Rights & Education Program
Every child has the right to grow up in a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment.
We work to:
Promote access to quality education for all children, especially girls and children with disabilities.
Raise community awareness to stop child marriage and abuse.
Conduct campaigns against child labour and exploitation.
Build networks that protect children’s rights at the village level.
Vocational training for youth and women in employable trades.
Supporting economic empowerment projects that create sustainable livelihoods.
Entrepreneurship development – from business planning to market linkage.
Linking participants with financial institutions and government schemes for better opportunities.
Livelihood & Skill Development Program
We believe in equipping communities with the tools they need to become self-reliant.

Community Mobilization & Advocacy
Real change begins at the grassroots level.
Through this program, we:
Mobilize village leaders, youth clubs, and women’s groups to champion inclusion.
Advocate with local authorities and state agencies for policy changes that benefit marginalized groups.
Use street plays, rallies, and public campaigns to challenge harmful norms.
Build coalitions with like-minded organizations for a stronger collective voice.
